VeenaGana school of music is a South Indian Classical Carnatic music school and was founded in 2006 as a registered music school. Prior to registration, the music classes started in November 1990. VeenaGana provides lessons in Vocal and Veena. Our goal is to establish strong foundation, generate passion, identify and nurture talent in Carnatic music.
We train students starting from Basics like Swaravali in different ragas, Geethams, Swarajathis, Varnams, Kritis, to advanced level Varnams, kritis and Introduction to Raga alapanai and kalpana swarams. Notations are provided for all the kritis learned.
VeenaGana’s main goal is to make the student strong in basics so he or she will be able to easily transition to higher levels of Carnatic music.
Besides lessons we conduct

- Chamber concerts every other 3 months of the year
- Summer camps – Focus on theory, Varnams, kritis

Periodically we also conduct group classes on Sundays to train for several Carnatic music organizations.
